About Wyncote Elementary School
Wyncote Elementary School, located at 333 Rices Mill Road, reopened its doors as a brand new building in September 2015. The Wyncote staff is dedicated to providing opportunity for all children to realize their potential. Faculty focus on instructional enhancement, supporting a positive school climate and embracing diversity. A student at Wyncote Elementary has the opportunity to take part in the school’s No Place for Hate Program, Reading Olympics, After-School Sports, Wyncote Steppers, Student Council, Multicultural Book Club, Philadelphia Young Playwrights and Problem Solving. Parents, teachers, and neighbors are all members of the Wyncote school community family. Wyncote teachers actively attend conferences, go to workshops, and take courses to continue to learn and grow.
